SOLVED You need to make this file writable error

    hello,

    I was try keep up to date using WHM/Cpanel software, but when I update yesterdays I have problem all my user account using wordpress but when try to edit files he can not save it that error is like this "You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes." or when want to install plugin always need require for Hostname, FTP Username, FTP Password. and All my account get same problem with that.

    I was done contact cpanel support but still not get any answer. please can some home help me

    Make sure you have the correct ownership as username for the wp-content and upload folder.

    Also the folder permission will be 755 and file permission will be 644.

    Once you have correct ownership and permissions for file and folders. It will not ask for FTP details.

    The issue you described seems like a limitation of the PHP handler configured on your system. What's your ticket number?

    hello,

    my ticket id is 9040771 I was done closed that ticket because when I check using root all user change it to nobody and then I install Mod_Ruid2. and now all working fine.
