What can anyone tell me about Fedora and Yum. Formally with our RH 9 Servers we used up2date. I have just been informed; that functionality is gone. So I am looking for sites or documentation to determine what the next step is, thanks.

Hiya, up2date is still a function in fedora linux (redhat) but there are a number of bugs which can prevent the system from working adaquately.

I installed fedora and during the install there was a prompt for an irc network, irc.freenode.net

Go to the channel #fedora and they will be able to tell you more but I use yum and the up-to-date yum.conf from there site.
