    Hi

when building using Easy Apache it seems that Zend is always included - despite ensuring the 'zend' option isn't included.

unfortunately my application doesn't run with Zend enabled - so I need to build php without Zend enabled.

    what is the answer here?

    thanks,
    halon

    Hello :)

PHP is based on what is called the Zend engine. All versions of PHP report a version of the Zend engine. This is not the same as Zend Optimizer. Zend Optimizer is an extension that is separate from the core Zend PHP engine.

    Zend Engine

    Thank you.
