Run the following from shell as root:
    /scripts/installzendopt

    Go on, have a guess
Yup. You do have to restart Apache manually though, the installation procedure says that it's done it, but it doesn't.

CPANEL updates that script whenever they feel like it.

If you want a newer version, you should manually download the latest installer and run it. That's all installzendopt does anyway.

Well.. im no programmer, but from looking at the source of installzendopt it seems to pull whatever is the latest version of the zend opt installer from the zend website. It is not auto updated by cpanel, you are best to run this script on your own when a new version is released if you want to stay on top. I normally check for a new version before a php / apache recompile and if there is a newer better version I update just after the compile.

No, it doesn't. I wish it did... it's easier to explain to clients.

It installs 2.5.3 now and 2.5.5 is the latest. It was installing 2.5.1 for the longest time after 2.5.3 got released.

How long am I have to wait to AUTOMATIC insatall Zend Optimizet 2.5.5 to my server. We have no choice to install separatly this zend optimizer. How can I ask cPanel support team upgrade to zend 2.5.5. as soon as possible?

Sorry new for this board and happy that friends replied to me quick. :)

Go grab the installer from zend's web site and install it yourself. Things like aren't added to cpanel untill they are fully tested and stable.
