    Atention!!
If some site don't work (receive a stupid error in Iexplorer like The page cannot be found", phpBB is first at this error) edit php.ini and at Zend opt. level = 15 modify with 5 and restart apache

erm...don't you have to complile it?

I had someone atttempting to show me how to get zend, lib, curl, mod ssl etc all running and for every one of them I had to
    make
    make install
    etc etc

I'm still lost as how to do it.....easyapache is just so ... well.. easy ;)
But it doesn't work as it should - should do updates as well.

hrm so where are you downloading it from? Zend's site?

    http://www.zend.com/store/free_download.php?pid=13
I see version 2.5.0 there but dont' see anything to do with Fedora.

The only place I've seen anything mentioned with Fedora on their site is in the forums (which really such btw)

    service apache stop
    service chkserv stop
    ./eaqsyapache (from /scripts - don't choose WHM/Update Apache)
Choose option 6, select what you want (curl, mcrypt etc)
    Drink a coffe
    When finish restart apache
At me work OK. Just with this method install php 4.3.4, ssl, etc etc etc

curl and ssl mod wouldn't work for us to install Whoiscart

Still not working - after a manual compile of it all with php/apache

finally just dropped it because it was a pain
