    Hi All,

When creating a new domain do you have a Zone File a well. The reason why i'm asking is because the namespace is registered elsewhere and i just need it to publish a website.

If you are referring to the DNS zone file, it will be created when you create a new account.
It will be under /var/named/ (/var/named/domainname.db).

You can also create or edit the zone file thorugh WHM:
WHM > DNS Functions > Add a DNS Zone
WHM > DNS Functions > Edit DNS Zone

If you need the domain name to resolve to your new server, you need to update the nameservers at your registrar. Otherwise you can use your ip address(assigned to your new account) to connect to the server.

Creating an account does indeed create a DNS zone file. However, unless you configure the domain at the registrar to use the nameservers you've setup, it won't ever be seen.

If, however, you want to split the functions of the domain, so that you have webpages on one server, ftp on another, email on another (for instance), so long as all the zone files match, it doesn't matter which one is setup with the registrar.
