    I need to configure my primary name server to allow zone transfers from: 64.49.244.185

    How can I do this with WHM ?

    I'm going to use ns1.widge.net as a secondary zone.
    Any comments about them?

    Thanks,

    *bump*

    This is exactly what I am trying to do also. I have a secondary name server set up, but when it tries to pull a zone transfer from my cpanel server, it fails. That is good security... but how do I tell cpanel/bind that it is OK to allow zone transfers from the secondary name server's IP?

    heh, i figured this one out myself. Edit named.conf and added:

    allow-transfer {
    1.1.1.1
    };

    Where 1.1.1.1 is actually the IP of my secondary name server. Instantly, the zone transferred. Kewl.

    Not sure about that one, but if it works, then it works. Also try setting up a partner relationship- master/slave in whm. That may also work.
