I am doing a website for someone and I am using the website CampaignPartner.com to build it. They host it but the people I am doing the website for have everything set up with cpanel which I am not familiar with at all. I logged into cpanel to see what I needed to do because apparently I need to Modify the DNS settings to point to a different IP address. When I tried to add the new IP address under add A Record and for name I used www it said I need ZoneEdit feature. HELP?!?!?!?!?!?

Am assuming you want to point the main domain name to another IP address? If so, in cpanel next to the "simple dns editor" you should see the "Advanced dns zone editor" from there you can point the domain to another IP address. If the "Advanced dns zone editor" is not available then you will need to contact the web host provider.

Hello :)

You will need access to the "Advanced DNS Zone Editor" option in cPanel in order to modify the "WWW" record or the primary "A" record for the domain name. Otherwise, you must have your web hosting provider complete this change for you. Note that the "Advanced DNS Zone Editor" option can be enabled by your hosting provider via:

"WHM Home » Packages » Feature Manager"

Thank you.
