zones dropping from named.conf

    We have found several zones that have just "magically" dropped from named.conf. The actual zone file exists in /var/named but the entry is missing from named.conf. Anyone else seeing this issue?

    Got an empty named.conf this morning (release tree)

    Ours looked fine this morning (release tree).

    This morning again one server (another one) on the release tree with an empty named.conf .

    yeah it seems to be happening all over. I had to re-installed the named daemon to get things working but its had caused other problems now :S

    In our case, running rebuildnamedconf fixed it on both occasions.
